Aris Vovos leads after Day 1

After six special stages of total 120.96 km, Aris Vovos – «EL-EM» having won 4 SSs lead the overall classification by a safe time gap of 1:33.2 from second Michal Solowow – Maciej Baran. The Greek crew run on a fast but also safe pace throughout the day and never felt pressure from any of its rivals, at the same time that the Polish one had to swap the stages since starting first during Day1.
Ioannis Papadimitriou – George Polizois who were 2nd overall until midday’s service, proved unlucky as on SS5 they forced to retire due to gearbox failure.
Third overall stand Yurii Protasov – Adrian Aftanasiv on their first entry in Greek ERC round.
Jan Cerny – Pavell Kohout who lead the 2WD Championship standings, finished Day1 first and now what they need is to maintain their position tomorrow in order to win the title.

Day2 consists of 2 more special stages which will be run three times.
